What should I dress up as for Halloween?

Wooo! Illustrator! Finally, I have a copy of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop...now I just need to learn how to use then. The above picture is my sad, sad attempt at drawing something. Heh.

Any tutorial suggestions?

I bought a second lens today, a 50mm 1.8! It's still early but I've decided I love this little lens. Also, I would like to try more portraiture now that I'm getting more comfortable with using my camera, if you like getting your picture taken or would at least brave it to hopefully get a nice picture of yourself that you would have forever and ever... um, let me know.

The thick fog around here lately makes any light in the dark look really cool.
Due to incessant studying for my linguistics midterm tomorrow, three things;
A) I definitely didn't spend any real time on this, and it's more of an idea marker for something I'd like to try out in more detail when I get more time in the future. I think I'll try that out soon.
B) My camera batteries died and left me with a terrible picture to post, it looks better on paper.
C)Maybe I'll invest in a set of chalk pastels, or maybe just a better set of oil pastels. I'm pretty sure I bought these for 8 dollars in grade 9...
D)It's October! Woo!

#26 Growing things

Ah, today has been a nice day with promises or at least possibilities for things to come. Sometimes the future weighs down on me while other times it's hard to feel anything but excitement.
There's lots to do in the morning, well maybe afternoon. But for now I think I'll join the rest of the city and fall soundly asleep in the soothing embrace of the night fog.
