Catch up the 78th - 85th.
Whew! I do believe that I'm only three behind now. We should be at 88 today. That will soon be fixed!
About last night...
I am also not dead or anything! Just working early in the morning. I'm hoping that once I get home I'll be able to spend the day getting a little caught up on my drawings in preparation for the madness that will be exam week. Whew. Life seems to happen all at once these days!

#s 76 & 77 I See You!
Wow, I should be asleep now, but I'm quite enjoying staying up into the wee hours playing around with pictures. I think I should make a habit of this.
I just watched Forbidden Kingdom and loved it! Great to see Jackie Chan doing drunken kungfu again.
So this is a stab at a lomo effect and Robert in polaroid form.
Night.

#s 73, 74 & 75 I'm Back, Baby!
Okay so just a few crap pictures that I kind of like.
Classes are over a week from today... or yesterday, and I'd like to be up to date on photos here in A&I by December third so that everyone who's even remotely interested in this blog can vote on their fave photo from the first three months.
...I don't blame you if these three don't make it into the votes.
Mmm, I'm just listening to The Burning Hell and enjoying getting sleepier and sleepier. Even the rain got tired and stopped.
Good night...

No pencil week the seventy-fifth.
David isn't dead... yet.
Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that I haven't slipped off the face of the planet or been hit on the head only to wake up with amnesia. I will be posting again shortly, but alas, for the moment I'm deep in homework hell and none of the attending demons will let me lay a hand on my camera.
When I do dig my way out of here I have a feeling there may be a few night shots coming... mostly because it gets so dark so early these days. I'll try to keep it from becoming a six month long theme though.
And finally, on December 3rd I'll be asking people to pick their favorite of the pictures I've posted over the first three months and let me know by mentioning the number of the picture, it's title or just vaguely describing it in the comment section of that post. This isn't a competition between Lauren and me, though I'm sure she would appreciate it if you vote on your favorite of her drawings on that day as well.
So start looking through the archives to figure out which picture and drawing you'll vote for on December 3rd!
See you soon!

No pencil week the sixty-ninth.
I'm going to try drawing with just pen for the rest of this week, no sketching in pencil first. My reasoning is twofold. First, I think it will be good for me to learn to sketch in ink and not rely on quick fixes to mistakes. Second, it will take half the time to finish the drawings, and I have lots of schoolwork to do!

#s 65, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71 & 72 Photo-dump!
And with this I am finally caught up to where I'm supposed to be! Yay!
I had lots of fun last night being a super model, trying not so sweat in my clothes while doing very complicated dance moves (ha!), I want everything I wore but I have noooooooo money. How did this come to be?
Right now I'm wrapped up in blankets and I've got an old, cuddly cat on my lap, it's not a very exciting Friday night but I'm sooooo fine with that.
Good night everyone.

Panography the sixty-seventh.
I like this one! I stumbled across some neat examples of panography this evening, and decided that I'd try to figure out how they worked instead of working on my term papers.... I tried it quickly, and this is what I came up with. Then, I started playing around with photoshop, and made it look like what I have posted above! I'd definitely like to play with this type of thing some more, and maybe look up something instructional instead of just fumbling around with my camera. Also, I'd like to figure out how to make the colors a little brighter. Hmmm.
Night!

#s 61, 62 & 63 Fashionista
Rehearsals went well today for Spectacular Spectacular, I'm looking forward to the show.
Also, tonight, at CBTG's , is the last show The Burning Hell are performing in St. John's on this visit. I didn't bring my camera last night to the show but that was probably a good thing, the bar was PACKED. I had forgotten just how great that band is live. If you have a chance to make it down tonight I promise you, you will not regret it.
#s 57, 58, 59 & 60 Our Little World
I can't help it sometimes I feel pitiful
and of course she's so young and beautiful.
Lately so much feels like just a diversion and so much has been left half done.
But I guess I'm young now so it's easier to knock 'em all down then I looked and saw her say to him 'you're really hittin' that ball around.'

Drawings the 61st and 62nd.
So, your mission this weekend is to attend at least one of the Burning Hell shows at CBTG's. I'm not kidding. You need to see these guys. They were here last spring, and I saw 3/4 of their shows, and that's only because I didn't know about the first one. I plan to see all four this time. In case the name throws you off, they're a really fun folk rock band that features ukulele, trumpet, viola, violin, guitar, accordion, and glockenspiel, among other things. Do it!
My drawings are Burning Hell themed tonight :)

Obamas the 59th and 60th.
I feel like I should have drawn something to mark this occasion, but unfortunately I finished today's (and yesterday's) drawings long before the election results came out. Hurray for Obama and decreased worldsuck!
These drawings are weird.
1) I want to paint things on the pillars at the circus space. I tried to control myself by drawing on a pillar shaped rectangle in my sketchbook.
2) Also at the space, I wrapped a really long string of rope lights around a pole. I like how it looks. This is a silly sketch of its basic shape. I'll probably take a picture of the actual thing soon.
Goodnight!
